I became a Lifetime WW member in 1996 and had no problem following their program. It has changed several times since and today it's easier than ever to follow. I went back in January while I was doing rads but had to stop because I was watching my granddaughters every day and didn't have time to go to the meetings. I feel that to be successful you have to go to the meetings. You learn so much. I am following my drs and WW and counting pts. I have 80 lbs to lose and I'm determined to be successful. The younger you are the better off. It gets much harder after menopause especially while on Arimidex. Keep up the walking. It's the best exercise and it's FREE!

Sure have!
Hi Heather,
I joined WW in Oct and to date have lost 35 lbs. I find the program easy to adhere to and I am never hungry. I use both the online part and I attend meetings. You can pretty much eat all the fruit and veges your hearts desire and most other foods in moderation. If you know you will be going out and want to eat more if you exercise you gain more points and can eat more guilt free. It is a great program and I highly recommend it!

Thanks ladies! I think both
Thanks ladies! I think both the online and meetings would benefit me most. I think Tim & I are going to find a way to squeeze this into our budget because I could really use some guidance to shed these pounds!

If you choose to have pre-package WW meals, you can. If you choose you can eat from the plan. What I like most, is the X bonus points .. which allows me 'prime rib', bake potatoes, as well as wine weekly.
You can eat out, and not worry about calculating points .. just be going to reference guides which provides points for everything .. including French fries, burgers, pancakes, steaks, stir fry meals .. everything!

I've done WW before and if you really stick to the program, you'll lose the weight. They make it pretty easy. I'm like you though--I am absolutely CRAVING food. Exercising for me is no problem--I've been doing the gym thing for years and with an active Vizsla, I walk almost every day as well. But the eating part--jeesh. And, from what I've heard--the eating part is more important in weight loss than the exercising.
Funny that you brought this up this morning. Before I even got out of bed, I thought to myself--hmmm, maybe I should just bite the bullet and re-join WW. Good to know about what to do when eating out, Vicki Sam. We eat out a fair amount and that was always the hardest part for me.
Good luck all you girls who are struggling like me. Look how far we've all come--we can do this, right?!!

Heatherbelle,I joined WW
Heatherbelle,
I joined WW back in Feb and so far have lost around 20 lbs. The Points Plus Plan is very easy to follow. I do not attend meetings. I am an online only member. When you sign up they give you access to all of the etools that you need. You can pretty much eat anything you want, just have to watch the portion sizes and measure and weigh everything. I even bought a little hand held tracker so I can check the points value of things in the grocery store before I buy them.
Hugs
