Can snow anytime in SLC area!
The first time I can remember seeing snow was June 25, 1951 in SLC. I remember the date because I turned 5 that day and we (Mom, her Mother, my infant brother and me) got there on the train from GA on my birthday and it was snowing when got off the train. Daddy was stationed at Hill Field (now Hill AFB but it was Hill Field back then) and he had gone out first to get a house and then we went. We're getting snow off and on today too but nothing is staying - couldn't in this wind today but could be drifting. The Hills (Black Hills are aparently getting a lot of snow dump today but on the Prairie just ENE we aren't - just the wind - gusts to 68 mph.0 -
