Tiny Bubbles
You know,I thought I was the only one. I posted that way back and everyone was checking, but couldn't come up with the bubbles. I noticed it all went away until I started the Rituxan maintenance and it came back again. Its gone now. I guess its harmless. John0 -

Hi Tom,
Glad to see you pop in! I hope you are recovering well from your fall and winter treatments and enjoying each day to the fullest. I'm trying...the dang Rituxan maint is not without side effects for me...seems to be keeping me fatigued which was one thing I was totally looking forward to conquering. UGH! With that being said...I'll take Rituxan maint ANYDAY over the CVP-R..I especially don't miss the P part of that chemo...ha! Anyways....just wanted to say "Hi" and tell you I've missed you. Take care...Sue0 -

Hey Sue, John -
I've been out for a while. So far, so good. In my March testing they found some growth of activity and ordered needle biopsies. (That was not pleasant - an hour under CT with very long needles being stuck deep into my abdomen.) There was local anesthetic, but I could still feel it part of the time. The "intervention radiologist" was a very pleasant female doctor who kept talking to me. She would stick needle in and move it around and tell me that my colon was so movable that she was having a hard time getting to the right spot. Anyway, they finished and Dr. Tan told me that she was not able to get a good biopsy. But later, my onc's office said they got a good sample after all and it was negative for active cancer! So my next test is scheduled for late June.
You know, it's always in the background, but we're just heading on. We had a great family Easter time and we're going on vacation to a beach resort in the Yucatan next week. Today it is cold and rainy here, so I'm looking forward to our time on the beach.
I hope you all keep doing well! My very best wishes to you.

Dear Tom,
You are such a brave and wonderful patient. I am sorry you had to endure an
uncomfortable procedure. At least the outcome was negative for active cancer.
Since NHL caused my small bowel to perforate, I probably will have a colonscopy
during the next few months. I did have one in June 2010. Hopefully any biopsies
will take place during the procedure while I am under anesthesia.
Put everything behind you now, if you can? Enjoy the beach. Love Maggie0 -

Tom,
Looks like you have had a rough time with the biopsies. I am sure it was really uncomfortable. The last thing on your mind is bubbles at this point. Glad all came back negative. I believe I would ask for full anesthesia in June.Keep us up to date at what is going on. John0
