    crazy Spring weather here
    Last year it snowed on Mother's Day :( It is just Spring snow though...mostly gone by lunchtime. But I have learned better...this year I will not try to plant my garden early.

    My only sojourn outside the USA was a brief trip to Canada...I really need to get out more. Spain would be such a wonderful experience, I'm jealous of your location.

    Here in So Cal, so warm and sunny here. Probably a result of that cold front in Utah.

    So you don't need to go to Spain, you can just fly here to Orange County!

    (have you priced airfare lately? Probably cheaper to fly to Spain!!!)

    I do wish I could escape to warmer weather for a bit...but I've got to stick around here as I have commitments. Some fun, some not...chemo, not...RenFaire, fun :)

    If it's warmer that you want, just drive straight down to good ol' Phoenix in about July. We can provide you with about 120. UGH, I can hardly wait. You live in a beautiful state.

    And Pepe, didn't watch the wedding, but caught a glimpse of the dress on the news. Heard there were complaints about it looking like Grace Kelly's. What's wrong with that? LOL. She was a beautiful woman.

    But you can stay at the best resort hotels (think Waldorf Astoria) for $60 a night!

    Can be fun if you survive the walk from the car to the hotel!

    About the hotel rates because the tourist trade dies out in the heat. Nobody in their right mind comes here then or lives here.(Whoops, my secret is out)

    that I'm sitting here in shorts, a tank top and barefoot and feel way overdressed for the sun that is beaming down on me.
    The flowers are blooming ever so beautifully, the birds are singing and the lawn needs mowed once again (been putting that off). Nope I won't say a word.
    Okay, back outside I go, just came in to get sunglasses and checked computer.
    Will close my eyes and think positive that you all get to have some of my sunshine sent your ways!!!!

    Who the heck is Kate? Is she from these forums? Are we invited to the wedding? Or maybe it is a prom? I just don't see how we can talk about this Kate or her dress, when it seems we don't even know her.

    I loved the dress, shades of Princess Grace. Also Pippa looked outstanding, her dress fit like a glove, and Harry very handsome too. Yes I did get up early to watch, just like a did for Diana and Charles. Nobody does weddings like the British.

    Utah is indeed beautious
    And it'll be plenty hot here in Happy Valley come Summertime...but I just want non-snow, above-freezing temps. Too much to ask of Springtime?

    I teach first and second
    I teach first and second grade and was quite surprised how excited most of the children were about the wedding. Two of the girls wore fancy hats to school to celebrate the occasion.
