off topic...The Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake in the World
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg beaten
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips or small amt. nuts (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (Micro Safe)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the chocolate chips or a few nuts (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous)
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?...Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
My sister emailed this to me yesterday. My daughter and her friend tried it with the chocolate chips, can I just say Yummmmm! It was definitely enough for two, neither of them finished their cake.

You are so mean!!!
Okay--supposed to lose those 20 lbs. before the cruise--didn't happen.
Oh, and by the way, gained another 5 lbs. on the cruise!
And, now--you do this to me.
I'm gonna put this under the category of "life is too short to worry about calories"! I can rationalize just about anything!
This sounds so yummy. I'll just have to try it.

How did you know. . . . . . .
. . . . .that I love chocolate cake? Looks simple. I am printing it out as we speak. My husband is not a big chocolate fan (he is more of a fruit fan) and my 2 kids are away at college so I do NOT have to share. Thanks so much for the weight loss help (not). IRENE0 -
Suddenly
Suddenly there's a purpose for my kitchen, or at least my microwave (besides reheating take-out).
Thanks, this sounds sooooo good.

I got this recipe from our RE and I have to warn you when mixing make sure the egg is mixed in thoroughly. I had some egg that wasn't and it exploded the chocolate mix all over the microwave.
I thought I had seen this before and it was from Re! I have made it and it is good!0 -

We used one that's probablysea60 said:I Love chocolate so much!
Thanks!
How oversized should the mug be?
We used one that's probably 10 or 12 oz instead of 6 or 8 oz. The cake did rise over the top, it was actually kind of fun to watch.0
