UNCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cinkal said:It has been a gloomy month
It has been a gloomy month of rain, clouds and cool weather here in Indiana. It seems like the sun has only came out a couple times this month.
I'll cry UNCLE if it will make it stop! Storms, flooding, storms, flooding, storms, and FLOODING! I guess we've had about 10 inches of rain since Friday (plus over 2" last Tuesday/Wednesday). Every ditch and low-lying field or road is flooded and many more about to be. Between now and Wednesday, we're supposed to get about 6 more inches. The mighty Ohio River is anywhere from 4-12 feet above flood stage all the way from Cincinnatti to the Mississippi. So you can guess how bad the small rivers and creeks are doing. It's truly a bad situation in IN, IL, KY, MO, AK, and TN right now. We've not had a tornado in Evansville-proper, but they've been all around us. We're in a lull right this minute as the next round is on our doorstep. Since all this started, our temperature has been for the most part between 65 and 80. That part's not bad.
Cinkal - if you read this, where are you located in Indiana? I would guess somewhere in the northern part.
Hope this finds everyone here safe from nature's rath. Marsha0 -

Right now in central FL its
Right now in central FL its OK, warm and way too dry, but June and July is when we have most of our more violent thunderstorms, etc. There is or was a tropical wave out in the ocean and most of us here were hoping it would come this way and rest over us for a couple of days. We could really use the rain.

I'm right there with you, Teresa! It's been raining here since Tuesday. That night my roof almost blew off .... Friday night we were like a tornado sandwich ... tornadoes to the north and to the south. We had scary lightning and wind, tons of rain but no tornado. I've never seen such a week like this ... it's been one week of day after day of severe weather. Scary stuff.0 -

I'm to your west and it's been raining HARD for almost a week. I think we've averaged about two inches a day. Tonight may be the night that breaks us. I've friends in Poplar Bluff MO who've been evacuated because of Black River. I drove back from STL ... over 100 miles in a torrential downpour. I've never been that stressed diving in my life. Rain, rain, and more rain. I seriously have ducks in my front yard. Scary stuff and with the rivers ... it's only going to get worse.0 -
