I guess it could have been much worse, but was kind of cute. Out of the mouths of babes.
Happy Easter Everyone!

Hair loss
Beth,Takes a little getting used to.Have noticed my hair is thinning, especially on the sides. This was not supposed to happen.I color my hair blonde and now starting to wonder if the treatment and color aren't liking each other.I remember after Chop when my fine hair grew in long enough to color it turned red. That was different for sure!sending you sunny thoughts,MicheleDx95FNHL30 -

I had colored mine recently too. I knew ahead of time this chemo would trash my hair so I was prepared for it. I was happy to shave it to keep it from hurting.
What kind of chemo are you doing now Michele?
Take care,

Hi Beth,
Thirty years ago when I was a school bus driver I got up a little late for work one morning. I always wore my makeup, but on this morning I had just enough time to brush my teeth and throw my hair up in a pony tail. One of my first graders got on the bus and as soon as she looked at me she said.."Mrs Sue..how can you drive the bus without your glasses on"? I didn't even wear glasse at the time...ha! She knew immediately something wasn't right. Kids can be so funny. Hope your week won't be so rough on you dear...this is your chemo week...right?

When my hair started to fall out, & I wasn't ready to shave it yet, I went to visit my nieces to kind of explain what was happening so they wouldn't be upset. I said that my hair was starting to fall out & proceded to pull a few of them out, Faith said " let me try" & grabbed a handfull - hence my first bald spot, She surprised me but my poor brother almost had a heart attack.0 -

I have had 9 treatments so far and I still have hair. My hair did thin a lot though. My 5 year old daughter comments on my hair all the time. It's kinda cute. She always tells me it's ok that I don't have a lot of hair. Losing my hair really wasn't that big of a deal for me anyway. It's just hair and it will grow back.0 -

Dixie, she was 6, & that one is going to be a challenge. My brother said he knows that he's going to get a call that starts with "Sir.. we have your daughter in custody" & I'll bet he's right. She'll pretty much do anything for a laugh & I just love her to pieces.0 -

I have a feeling you both may be right at some point, lets hope it comes way down the road lol.
Kids are so awesome. I love them all, even the stinking little boy that asked me one day if I was gonna have a baby (I'd gained a bunch of weight) when I was walking my dog LOL.
BTW by the time I got home that day I'd cried and vowed I was going on a damn diet LOL
Thanks for the laugh Ms Porphy!
