Hi ladies. My mom passed away a year ago this coming June 13th. I just wanted to tell you all thank you so much for helping me the 15 months that she struggled and battled this horrible disease. I still get on here even though she is gone now and I pray for everyone on here. My heart is absolutely broken that my mama is gone, thought it would get easier with time but its not.
Keep fighting and staying strong-I really feel that something good is just on the horizon to battle this nasty beast. Praying for you all and have a blessed Easter.
Becky

Dear Becky, I'm so sorry you
Dear Becky, I'm so sorry you lost your mom. As one who has lost both parents, I can tell you that it really does get easier with time, but it takes a very long, long time. My mom died in 1986, and I have not mourned or grieved for so many years I don't even know how long, BUT, I still sometimes have the urge to pick up the phone and call her. That's a bittersweet moment. I do still think about her, of course, but it's almost always when I do something I learned from her, so it's a good memory and a good feeling.
