Weight loss and OVCA

I saw LaundryQueen comment that she has noted a correlation with weight loss and initial diagnosis of OVCA.

My wife was diagnosed (Stage IV) 6 months after losing 40-50 pounds.

Any others have a similar experience?

My Mom went from 135 lbs to 99 lbs prior to surgery, after surgery she went down to 88 lbs. For the last six months she has hovered between 90-92.

    I had lost about
60 pounds but it was about three years before I starting feeling sick. After my the breakup of my 27-year relationship I could not eat for months. I lived on crackers and those 100-calorie snacks. I had started putting weight back on about a year before I got sick. I was kind of yoyoing with 20 or so pounds.

    I went
from 160 lbs to 104 lbs, which was about a third of my body weight, in the 4 months before being diagnosed.

    weight loss before cancer
I lost almost about 33 pounds before being diagnosed with OVCA. I lost more weight (about 11 pounds) during chemo but now I have gained back those 11 pounds plus another 5 pounds so I am hoping to be able to be more active to avoid gaining more weight. Still have a lot of fatigue though.
