But what a gift he left you!
I lost my father on Feb. 16th. My father, unlike yours, was not able to talk about being ill or dying. I'm not even sure he understood how his illness had an effect on other people's lives. He was kinda clueless in that regard.
Though the road ahead will be hard, the gift of loving words he left you with will always stay in your heart.
