I'm so sorry to hear about your lousy scan result. Please hang in there!

FOLFOXFIRI
I don't know it by that name but I used a "cocktail" of 5FU, oxaliplatin and leucovorin after surgery. Before surgery I had 28 radiation sessions and 5FU. This all started in September, 2008. I was a 68 year old guy who felt like a 45 year old guy before the "discovery" through a screening colonoscopy. I'm cancer free now and expect you to be the same with your treatment.
Hawaii is as close to heaven as I've ever been and the cancer and treatment are close to that other place. Enjoy every moment and don't worry about the chemo. It will work.
God bless,

I am so sorry to hear about
I am so sorry to hear about your pet scan. However, I do hope that this combination works for you. I read about it sometime ago and just recently my husband's onc. mentioned that as an option for him when the time comes. So I guess it has been commonly used. Good luck and I wish you well.0 -
