Another check mark on my bucket list

in Ovarian Cancer #1
Yesterday I thought my husband and I were going to the casino for a
day out. Little did I know he made arrangements for me to go sky diving.
He knew that I always have wanted to do it. What a surprise!! I know he is worried sick
about what lays ahead for me/us and is making sure I can do some of the things that
I have on my list. It was so thoughtful of him!!! I love my life and I am not giving it up without a huge fight!!!

    Sky diving rocks!!!
    Isn't it just amazing! I did a jump last year for our local cancer charity The Big C , I was petrified but as soon as I was down , I wanted to go straight back up again , I loved the free fall part the best, just tumbling through the sky, you don't know you arse from your elbow!!!!

    You put a BIG smile on both my husband's and my face! I kidded him that he didn't have to do that for me,he then said, "No I don't think you have it in you ;)" I told him, "When we do it, we can do it together w/o parachutes!" He then laughed, "With our luck they wouldn't open anyways!" Okay, sorry for the sick humor lol! What's next on your bucket list?

    Really it was so awesome. We went up to 14,000 to jump and pulled the chute at 6,000.
    We could see the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Houston on the other. So peaceful and I am
    so glad I had the opportunity to do this. Scuba diving is also on my list and I have a
    gift certificate to do it. ( I need to schedule an appt!!!)I think it will be tranquil and literally out of this world also.
    I want to see the redwood trees and go on a hot air balloon. I love to travel and am gonna cram in as much as I can while I am feeling good. This year it is mainly to visit family (Indiana and Pennsylvania).I withdrew my 401K-(my new bucket list fund.) All these things go through my mind and for my husband to do this without me
    mentioning anything was absolutely wonderful. He also wants me to go visit some of my BFF's from out of town. Thank you God for blessing me with such a wonderful husband!!!
    I always try to spoil him rotten and now he is returning the favor.

    I better get busy!
    My bucket list currently consists of a bucket with cleaning supplie! You gals are way ahead of me---going to get busy creating a TRUE bucket list--I have a wonderful and thoughtful husband--who knows what he will create!---Fun is the name of the game.
