CAT SCAN TODAY WAITING

Jim's oncologist felt it was wise to have the catscan to determine what is causing his pain, so it was done today. We are waiting...........
I know God was with us today, as while waiting in the outer room I started up a conversation with a lady using a Kindle. I mentioned we were here because my husband had had EC and was having a catscan. She responded very surprised stating her husband has EC as well. Well, as I am sure you can imagine we were like best friends in minutes, comparing notes and then our husbands came out and it started all over again. It was good for the guys and us gals as well. His cancer was diagnosed in 09, went through a modified IL in Az at Mayo with a Dr. Lonza, I believe. He is a stage IV, I am not sure why they did surgery, maybe he wasn't a IV at diagnosis, but he has spots in his lungs. He is going through palliative chemotherapy and tolerating it well. I shared with her about the website and she was very interested and will be e-mailing me. I don't believe in luck, our life is in God's control, don't always understand the whys, but I know I sure couldn't do it on my own!
I will update as soon as I know Jim's results. Let's hope it is a abscess and can easily be fixed, and he has a NED. I appreciate all of your prayers.

Hi Linda! I have been away from the site for awhile and just saw your post. Did you get the results back yet?
Thinking of you and Jim.

Thank you Melissa, yes, I posted a separate post, sorry you missed it. All is well and they pulled the feeding tube and Jim's pain is gone and he is taking a med that increases his appetite and he is eating better too. What a relief!!!!!!!! Thank you for asking. How is the pregnancy going?
