Thanks Everyone for the support and knowledge of how to handle symptoms. The unknowns in cancer are what we are all afraid of. The various input has been a true help in finding ways to cope with the pain and symptoms.

Today I got the news that I that I finished the Chemo! (FolFox) Wooo Hoooo I started on 1st of October and it has kicked my buns. The Oxi was really difficult on me. No more nausea, diarrhea, etc.... Hopefully I will get back on a normal sleep schedule and get the feeling back in my fingers and feet.

My Onc told me I will get tested again on June 10th and we will have a new base line. I will have a CT/PT and a Colonoscopy. Then my port removed. My current CEA is at 3.2 well within normal and healthy! I walk every twice a day and I will pick that up a little more now that I will not need to be so close to a toilet. lol I will also come off of coumadin at the end of April. I want to be drug free soooo bad. I rarely took an aspirin previous to being diagnosed with cancer in Sept 2007. (Signet Ring Cell Cancer in the Appendix, Cecum, Transverse Intestine, and Small colon in four locations. 3 Sugeries, 4 additioanl hospital visits, and numerous tests. I have had Premium Health Insurance since I was 18 and I worked the heck out of it the past three years.)

The stress on my wife Laurie has been equal to mine, I am sure. I am truly blessed with friends and my wife Laurie for being supportive and knowing that my not lack of want in coming to events, it was my lack of ability.

Yesterday I picked up a new Programming project that will keep me busy and get some cash flowing again. Life will be getting back to normal again.

I will be on, and cheer on as many people as I can. Our prayers are with all of you.
Best Always, mike

    Wonderful News
    Dear Mike,

So very glad for your good news. It seems that you have endured much and come out on the top side of things.

May today be the first day of many many more with no problem bigger than how to find a bug in a program!

    Hugs,

    Marie who loves kitties

Thanks all for the good advice and inspiration!
Thanks Everyone for all of the support.

I got more good news from the Doc this morning. I can stop taking coumadin. I can actually be drug free! I disliked the idea of taking all of the meds. I was up to 21 pills of various forms, nausea control, diarrhea control, blood thinners, pain meds, etc... All of these chemicals can not be good for us and also have side effects that can not be good for us.

Thanks all for the good advice and inspiration!

    Best Always, mike
