Linda, we are so happy for Jim and you! I hope you are celebrating with some homemade spaghetti or equally delicious normal food
Olya
Funny you should say that Olya! Jim requested my homemade spagetti last night and I had made a huge pot of sauce a week ago and froze bags of it. It was delicious, and this morning he reported he gained another pound!!!!!! I don't even want to go near that scale!:-)

Wonderful News
Linda,
I am so happy to hear that Jim is doing well!!! I know he must be happy to be rid of the feeding tube and NED is the best news of all. Hopefully it won't be long before he has his heart issues behind him.
Best Regards,

Thank you all for your great comments and prayers. It is so nice to report positive news. Jim and I are going on a little road trip tomorrow. We are headed down from North Idaho to Northern California. We are going to investigate a community and have a mini-vacation in Lincoln, California, outside of Sacramento and then head down to Central California to have Easter with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Jim has more energy and is on a medication to increase his appetite and other than working out the volume at the meals, he is enjoying food again. I made up bags of cashews for him to have at all times and that seems to help.
Everyone have a wonderful Easter as I will be off having some fun!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!
