    Lovely Susan
I have just found out about Susan. I am so so so sad and shocked. She and I message each other on msn and her latest message said she was feeling sick but I never realised she was so ill. She was so kind and caring and always concerned about others. I will miss her. I am just so shocked ........ I never expected this so sudden.

    Sorry
I am very sorry to hear this... it makes me so damn angry.. Susan didn't post very often and I am not too familiar with her history... it seems like she had posted a couple of months ago that she had been in remission for a year or so but her CA was slowly inching up....My thoughts are with her family and friends and the ladies on this board, It's obvious she was a special person.

    This is sad
It is always a shock to hear of a death of one of my 'sisters'. I hope she didn't post by her choice for privacy and not worrying about bringing the board down. My condolences to her family

    Sad to hear
Heart breaking news. I remember reading her posts awhile back and was so glad to hear she was doing so well after living with this disease for some time. Things can change so quickly. For the better, but also for the worst.

I have a flowering tree I have been nurturing from a stick in my garden that is now 6 feet tall that I will plant this spring in a special place down by the river where I live. I will plant this in honor of all the women who fight and have fought this battle with grace. Every spring it will flower and will remind me that everyone’s spirit lives on.

    Details,
I don't know any details. I searched her facebook for clues, but didn't really see any. I wonder if it was complications related to the cancer, rather than the cancer itself?

At any rate, my heart and prayers go out to her loved ones at this time.

    Hugs.

    Details on Susan's death
    This is a note I received from a long-time friend of Susan's:

Carlene, thank you for kind words, we loved Susan. Her husband phoned me and told me that she had been taken to ICU. They stated that she may have aspirated and contracted pneumonia. Her condition deteriorated. I pray for her as she was so gentle and kind.

    good-bye to a good woman
A picture is worth a thousand words--I never knew Susan but just looking at her photo speaks volumes. There is an expression that "pneumonia is the old person's friend" and it's a not a bad way to go...I mean it's a peaceful and painless way to go.

    Shocking
She posted on the FB teal warrior page that she was dehydrated! My heart goes out to her family. Enjoy your angel wings and a painfree after life dear friend.
