Congratulations - I
Barb,
Congratulations - I know you have worked so hard to get this done. I know Vince would be so proud of you and is smiling from Heaven right now. Hopefully, you are right we can help save others from the heartache of Esophageal Cancer by raising awareness of this beast.
Please share the photo once you have a copy.
Lots of hugs and love,

Hi Barb, Let me know more about it-- when and where it will take place. Would love to come and meet you . Congratulations to Georgia!
Thanks to all of you who responded. Sandy as you live closer I will for sure let you know when I find out and if you and your hubby can be there that would be great. This is bittersweet as I wish Vince were here in person but I know he is proud from Heaven. This has all been such a rough road and I cry everyday for that sweet man.
Thank you again.

Barb
I am so happy that you can see some fruits of your efforts...although they are born out of such pain.
Many here know that pain, but we have been sometime frustrated of what to do about it. I feel like we are all taking the first steps to making a difference---no matter what stage of this journey we are on... I didn't realize before---but you have the same name-- BARB - As my aunt that lost her hubby (My dad's little BROTHER May 2010 to EC (Tallahassee, FL) ---the same disease my dad was diagnosed with 8/09. It has been hard on our family so I PERSONALLY appreciate all those trying to help out the awareness efforts. I hope we can increase funding nationwide for research, awareness, prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.
Barb--lets just keep this "boulder" rolling!
