Waiting......

I just realized that it is only 9AM into a Saturday and I am already two beers into the day. That is very, very unlike me. I am very stressed because I am waiting for the results of my Thursday MRI scan and I am having lots of facial/ear pain that is making me very apprehensive of the results. I am a generally positive guy, but my mind is definitely wandering to the 'dark side'. I know that there are several others of our family here that are also on 'pins and needles' waiting for the results of their recent scans. I wish you all the best of luck and I am hoping and praying for all of us.

Waiting
Hey there...
I know how hard it can be to wait on your scans. I have had over 50 MRI's and my husband and I have become very good at reading the scans (whether large or the cd version) so we always ask for a copy.
As for the waiting game? I know it is hard to do, but don't "borrow" trouble and fear where there is none. It always seems to find us whether we want it to or not. You will know soon enough. Call family or friends and tell them what is going on. Ask them to help you work through it or to meet you for dinner or to do something. You can also put the time to good use by researching what your options are if your MRI is less than stellar. Also make a list of questions you may have for the doctor(s) so that you are ready when the results do come in.
The waiting is never easy, but trust me, Mondy will be here soon enough. Enjoy the weekend while you can.

Waiting sucks
But you're not waiting alone. All of us are here thinking good thoughts and lifting you up in prayer. Ativan works better than beer but doesn't taste near as good.

I hear you! I had my ct scan & have to wait two week's. Different protocol here. I find praying & Ativan is key in keeping me sane. I had a beer with dinner last night. Trying to keep busy & not getting everyone down around me. I keep us all in my prayer's also. Plus hope my angel's are beside me! I wish you my best & please try to keep positive as best you can. My thought's & prayer's are with you!
God Bless
