My best friend..
Just passed last week from this...she survived for 2 1/2 years...the end of chemo is up to the patient..her decision...and hers alone... Ending chemo does improve, somewhat their quality of life for a while...all treatment for glioblastoma multiforme stage IV is purely palliative...I've helped care for my best friend almost full time for the past two months...God bless you for helping care for your sister in law...
I am so very sorry all of you are going through this...0 -

We are doing all we can. We still pray for a miracle to keep her with us. She was in the hospital last week due to all her blood counts being low. We have changed to a new oncologist that is within the same group, but she seems to give us more info and is very helpful. She even called me at work to explain what her blood counts mean. Unfortunately, my sister in laws platelets keep droping and they are at a 14 now. Giving her platelets 3 times last week did not help. The temador they had her on is just too strong for her. We go on the 18th to see what our new treatment options are. I just want the best for her. I cannot help but worry. She is a sister to me and I love her very much.0
