HI my husband who is 34 yers old just got diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. The cancersious tumor cannot be removed yet for medical reasons which leads to a stool bag and 6 months of chemo before any removal can be tried. no insurance and unemployed and having no clue to handle this and still be strong while the bills stack up. I would really appreciate any sites, phone numbers, or emails of those who might help me emotionally with my children and resources for fianancial help and medical supplies.
I understand this in cancer surviors and not those who still have it but when I started my search for information about this disease which is trying to take my soul mate from me your site was the one I clicked first to start my search for shoulders to cry on!
Thank you for any support you can offer to my family. My husband has
been so sick this past 7 months and recent its been emotionally and financially draining.
Your continued prayers will keep us strong!

Hello
I'm sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. Just so I'm clear, does he have colon cancer or anal cancer, as there is a board on this site for colon cancer too. At any rate, I'm glad you found this site and hope that you will get some support here. I would recommend calling your local office of the American Cancer Society, as they may have lots of information for you regarding financial help, support groups, etc. Also, check with the social services dept. of your hospital for assistance. I wish you and your husband all the very best.0 -
