PET/CT tomorrow............***UPDATE: GOT RESULTS***

Finally here..... tomorrow is the big day.......... I have 2 teams of docs and neither could come to an agreement on my status since I developed radiation pneumnia. There were 4 spots and top right lung had the pneumonia as seen on scan that was done 2 times ago. The last scan showed pneumonia clearing up good...1 spot gone and others shrinking...the BIG debate is one team says its all pneumonia related and the other team says pneumonia only in right lung and spots are tumors.... they say in both cases they will appear the same on a PET/CT...with lighting up and uptake. CEA was on the rise during the pneumonia as well...which could have been from inflammation...or new tumors...who knows??? Certainly not them. CEA has been going down so this scan is "the one" to prove which team is right.... biting what nails I have left! Since I am getting scan done at the University Hospital I will get prelim results tomorrow as well...I love that! Sooooooo...... please send me all the good carma ..prayers...vibes...whatever.... thanks guys!!! BTW...the new pic is Beth, Craig and I from CP8 last year in Texas.... Take care

***UPDATE***
First of all, I want to thank all of you who sent prayers, carma, vibes and whatever. The docs at the University Hospital said these results were prelim only and the written report would follow in a few days but in their opion.."NOTHING jumps out at us... other than the fact that in lungs ALL pneumonia is gone... all spots are gone (except for 1 tiny one that is almost gone) no uptake anywhere....no nothing anywhere else." They feel they were correct in their opinion that this was ALL radiation pneumonia related and is now 98% GONE..... meaning I have been NED for several months now..... WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! Yes... I am dancing naked...and while it is not a real purdy site... it FEELS friggin beautiful!!!!!! I wish this on each and every one of you. I consider and call this "Vacation" and I sure hope and pray it is an EXTENDED one!!!! Love you all and thank you for ALWAYS being there!!!!!
