Cancer came back in the ear

My ENT did a biopsy in my ear because of granulations near ear drum. The result came back positive. Seems like NPC from last year has extended to ear area. I have to go see the oncologist again. Don't feel like going through another radiation and chemo which most probably will be suggested by the onco. Don't know what to do. Please pray for me.

    Back Again
Hi, Frank. I'm very sorry to hear of your recurrence. I also had the beast come back after an all clear and I had another surgery because of it. I did not get rads again because it was in the same area and no chemo yet. I sure know how bad it feels to get the news. But, I am still here and fighting and you will be also. Don't give up hope and keep fighting the beast.

Sorry to hear this. I, too, am NPC- almost 24-months post-tx. Have my yearly PS/CT this next Monday, and have been dealing with the remnants of a bad cold over a month, now, in both nasal and bronchial congestions that just doesn't wanna go away. Will not be surprised to get bad news, also. Hope all turns-out much better than you are expecting, Frank. Prayers.

    Thoughts and Prayers
Coming your way.....but as mentioned, you need to do what you need to do when and if that time comes. You know how to survive and make it through treatment..if it comes to that (hoping not), you'll do it.

    Best,
    John

    Keep fighting...
Frank, sorry to hear of the recurrence, I can understand your frustration but please don't give up. Treatment is no walk in the park but the end results are worth it.

I will continue to pray for you.

    Hi Frank
Sorry to hear this as I know what it is to go through radiation and chemo a second time for NPC. Do this first my friend if you can, go on three weeks of Bitter Gourd then let the doctor re-test you for NPC in the ear. I will PM you more info later as I am on the road right now and don’t have the info I need with me.

God be with you my friend

Very sorry to hear you have to go another round in the fight. Hope surgery (and maybe chemo, if needed) can wipe it out quickly.
