Swollen legs

in Kidney Cancer #1
Hi everyone I was just diagnosis with kidney cancer the begining of this month. Did anyone have trouble with ther legs swelling? Both of my legs are swollen and have been getting bigger even after vascular surgery last year.

    Hi DarrylPe,

    I had problems with my ankles and legs swelling prior to being diagnosed and up until after my surgery. My first urologist told me it wasn't related. My second urologist, who performed my nephrectomy, said it was related to my tumor. Surgery has relieved most of this problem for me.

    Good news
    Hi Rae and thanks for the info. my legs have been swollen for over a year.I've seen different doctors including a Vascular surgeon who close off a few bad veins but this didn't help. I hope my results will be the same as yours.
