Update - My mum is out of the operation theatre!
Thank you very much for all of your support and prayers. My mum is back to the general ward. The surgeons successfully removed 2/3 of her liver which included all the tumors.
She looks very pale and throws up a lot ... and is sleeping now.
I am finally feeling a bit relief! Without your support, my past 8 hours would be extremely difficult to get through!
I would like to give you all a big thank and big hug!
Love
Dora

This is very good news! I hope your mother has a fantastic recovery.
The caregiver has to rest just as much as the patient....do some little special things for yourself...You certainly deserve them all.......Love to you and mom........Clift0 -

glad she's done
Hi Dora,
I'm glad to hear she's come through the surgery successfully. Sorry to hear she's been throwing up a lot. I threw up from certain pain meds following my liver resection. When they switched my pain meds, the throwing up stopped. She may be having a reaction to the meds they're giving her- check w/ her doctors if it's still a problem.

Thank you very much for your prayer. I already give her some gentle touches ...
She is recovering well because the doctor said she can have fluid diet and need to start doing the breathing, moving exercises. In fact, she can talk to me already.

Oh Thank you so much for your advice! The doctor gave her some pain tablets instead of the pain killer infusion. I hope her dizziness will be gone soon and she will stop vomiting.
She is having a blood infusion at the moment and the doctor said, maybe that will help too.
I really appreciate your suggestions! Thank you very very much!
I hope you will keep up your good health and take care!

Thank you very much for your energetic message! I don't know if that is normal, but I was amazed to see her sitting up, talking to me this morning. AND she has appetite, wants to eat!
She needs to leave the bed and sit on the chair tomorrow which I think will be a big challenge for her!
Thanks a lot again and you take care too!
