new update

in Breast Cancer #1
I had another pet scan, and it showed that this chemo drug is not working, so he has put me on Docail, or also called Aridimicin, or something spelled close to that. I had my first treatment, and i swear i feel better! i do not know if that is possible but i still have some pain which they are doing a good job of managing. I have not been on for a while, i have been so sick lately. i have some more meds to treat the nausea. I hope everyone is well and my flowers are still sitting on my dining room table. I love you

    So happy to hear from you!
    I think it is entirely possible to feel good or better after one treatment!! After all, we can feel really bad after just one treatment too; so let's claim feeling better too. Sorry about all of the sickness. that makes it so very hard to keep going but you do it and you are such an inspiration, Meena. Praying for you too.

    Meena, I am so, so happy that you are feeling a little better. Is the drug maybe adriamycin (doxorubicin)? Whatever it is, I am so glad that you are responding. You have been on my mind and in my prayers. We all love you too!

    As always, you remain in our thoughts. I'm sorry to hear that your chemo was not working but happy to hear you're trying something new. Especially happy that it seems to be more tolerable - without all the nasty side effects, you're sure to feel better. When you're up to it, let us know what your schedule is for Docail.     I am sorry that chemo was not working. But I am glad to hear that your dr. has changed you to another one. I hope that fact that you are feeling better today is a really good sign. I will keep you in my thoughts and send you some positive energy.
