Liver Resection on 28th March
Time flies, it seems like yesterday when I was asking about liver resection (about 1month ago). My mum will have liver resection on 28th March (US time 27th March evening) ... the surgeon said, they are going to remove 2/3 of her liver plus some wedges. Please pray for her and the surgical team. I'm scared to death! We need your support and prayers.

Dear Lourdes,
I really appreciate your 'tips' about recovery. Do you mind telling me what kind of help does she need after surgery?
I hope you are doing well with your chemo treatment and love your moto!

Dora,
I didn't realize the surgery would be so soon. I wish your Mom the best results from this surgery. I will be thinking of you and your Mom.
Dear Anne,
I have been counting down since we confirmed the liver resection. Time flies.... I thought we still have plenty of time to give her more nutrient and put on more weight before the surgery and it's already around the corner!
She did has a chemo without Avastin on the 8th March and the blood test results on 23rd March showed that the CEA only drops a little bit which is totally not significant. The colon surgeon once said it's better to do it earlier than later, I guess she was right.
Thank you so much for your support all the time, it means a lot a lot to me!
My best wishes to you and hope you have great health all the time!

Your mom has reached a milestone, surgery. I understand it is a tough surgery but with you at her side, and a great team of doctors, she will be ok.
Now go get some rest, prayers coming your way.
Hugs - Tina
Dear Tina,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I will go to the hospital and sleep with her tonight ... in less than 10 hours, the surgery will begin.
Love and hugs,
Dora0
