Menstral cycle and chemo
My oncologist said my periods would be wacky, or stop for about six months. I realize everyone is different, but just wondering what anyone's experience was with their cycle?

Similar situation, though different chemo
I was 40 when I did chemo, and I've also always had very regular periods you could set your watch by.
My chemo was different, though -- I did 4 rounds of Taxotere/Cytoxan, so nowhere near as long as you.
FWIW, during chemo and for a few months afterwards, Aunt Flo only came about every 2 months -- and, because of that, they were much heavier than usual. By about 3-4 months after finishing chemo, everything went back to Regularly Scheduled Programming -- even though I started Tamoxifen right after finishing chemo, my periods have been very normal and regular.
Given how much more chemo you're doing than me, I would guess it may take longer for yours to return to normal.
Don't know if that helps?

I am currently doing
I am currently doing Taxotere/ Cytoxin every 3 weeks. The day of my 1st infusion, I was at the end of my period. However, I have never quite stopped bleeding. I'll have a few clear days and then start again. The Oncologist says that hormones get all messed up during therapy and some women just bleed right straight through. The menustration is light compared to a normal menstral cycle. I go for round 2 on Thursday: I'll see what happens.0 -

I was 49 during chemo. I had different chemo I had 4 rounds of C/T and I am nearly 9 mos. out. I had a peroid about 2 wks. before 1st treatment and absolutely nothing since then. I am on Tamoxifen (7 mos.) I had always been very regular till then. God Bless

I had the same chemo as you
and I was 40. My periods stopped after my second round of chemo and haven't started again. I finished chemo at the end of August. I was told that it may never start again or that it could start back at any time up to 2 years later.0 -

Doing 12 rounds weekly of Taxol, last period was Jan 20, no sign of anything since then.
FEC starts April 1, not sure if period will re-start or not, then or after chemo.
I'm 44.
