And I agree with buck , don't worry too much about fluctuations!
Hugs!
So I went to the oncologist today and he confirmed that the cea jumped from 2.6 to 6.5 and does not think the strep throat caused the jump nor the fact that I had the blood tested at a different lab. With that said we did retest the blood and will get the results on Wed but heck I am still fighting strep so if it is causing an issue then it still may. He also is setting up a Petscan to be sure of what is going on. Although it is not a really high number he is more concerned with the fact that they keep going up very slowly over the last three months. I am not going to let this cancer get me down if it comes back then so be it I beat it back once and can do it again. But I do pray that the cea will show better results on Wed.0 -

I'm praying you will get wonderful results from this next bit of testing. Hoping the rise is a fluke.

If he said you were NED for six weeks and now CEA has been rising for 3 months, does that mean your oncologist was wrong? I'm trying to understand NED for six weeks, CEA climbing for 3 months.
