great news. wonderful!!!! who is your colorectal surgeon and your radiation man, if you do not mind telling me. my surgeon is skibber. he does not communicate well. Das is radiation. thx sephie
Sephie you and I have the same doctors, I have both Dr. Skibber and Dr. Das and Dr. Eng is my chemo doctor. Thus far I have gotten the answers I needed and they all are very straight forward, but I havent had any unusual issues from my treatment. I did have an area that swelled after treatment near the anus, but it seems to have calmed down considerably and Im feeling great. I feel so lucky to be able to go there and have such excellent doctors care for me, I was telling Dr. Das's nurse how I thank God I found out about MD Anderson. If it hadnt been for this site I would never have known, so thank you all for sharing and providing answers and solutions.

thx for info. i am glad you like your doctors. makes me feel better about them. i am still having problems so i get really fearful of what the bump and pain are.is. das really hurt me on left side last week with the DRE. used no lubricant. (remember i am 19 months post) i can take lots of pain. so that scared me. and made me mad but i have not said anything. skibber did not hurt me with procto. neither did Ct scan enema (really tore my anus up last year). soooooo i am still healing . hugs sephie0 -
