For cat lovers and anyone else who needs a laugh
The middle one is Eli. Eli really loved chap stick. LOVED it. He kept asking to use my chap stick and then losing it.
Finally one day I showed him where in the bathroom that I kept my chap stick and explained he could use it whenever he want ed to but he needed to put it right back in the drawer after he finished because I used it sometimes several times a day.
That year, on Mother's Day, we were having the typical rush around to try to get ready for church with everyone crying and carrying on. My two boys are fighting over the toy in the cereal box.
I am trying to nurse my little one at the same time I am putting on my make-up.
Everything is a mess and everyone has long forgotten that this is a wonderful day to honor me and the amazing job that is motherhood.
We finally have the older one and the baby loaded in the car, and I am looking for Eli. I have searched everywhere and I finally go into the bathroom.
There was Eli. He was applying my chap stick very carefully to Jack's rear end. Eli looked right into my eyes and said "chapped..."
Now if you have a cat, you know that he is right - their little bottoms do look pretty chapped. And, frankly, Jack didn't seem to mind. And the only question to ask at that point was whether it was the FIRST time Eli had done that to the cat's butt or the hundredth!?!
And THAT is my favorite Mother's Day moment ever, because it reminds us that no matter how hard we try to civilize these glorious little creatures, there will always be that day when you realize... they've been using your chapstick on the cat's butt..

Cat lovers
That was funny!!
I am another one who loves her kitties.I have a 10 yr old female who is grossly obese. Spaying sometimes does that to a cat. Anyway, JayLo my cat weighed in at 19 lbs in February. She waddles like a pot bellied pig, and speaking of butts, ya' know a cat that fat cannot clean a butt (I'm now wondering if a smear of chapstick might help? )So, vet says " This cat is too fat! ". I leave out of there with a $16.00 small bag of diet cat food of which she can only have 1/2 cup daily.Supposedly she will lose 20% of her weight in 3 months and then she'll still need to lose about another 5 lbs:)
Now my old tom named Rocky is 18 yrs old and weighs 6 1/2 lbs.He has congestive heart disease, cataracts, arthritis, and senility. He also has 2 teeth. He needs to gain a little weight. The two of them have plotted against me and he is eating the low calorie diet food and she is slurping up his Tuna. Then when I catch them at it they look at me so innocent like " Huh? what did I do?"
What would we do without our kids and kits?

to funny
That story was to funny! Children and animals always make a good combination.
Our cat Enya would try and steal food off of our plates if we ate in the family room. We would tap her on the top of the head so she would back off. After a couple of years, she would just tuck her ears back and squint her eyes, as if getting ready to take the tap on the head while still extending the paw trying to steal food off of our plates. She did this for her entire 14 years of life.
Best Always, mike0 -

in Oct of 1973 I was given a male kitten that grew to be a huge, active Angora that kept me sane for 11 years....I had him for a few weeks when in playing with him I noticed a pimple on his chest....Later, looking closer, I noticed several others....What amazed me was how symetrical they were, three in a row below his nipple on the left and the same on the right....So with a dayoff coming I made an apointment with a vet. After getting scratched getting Smokey into a carrier, we took a bus to the vet and waited a bit and then into the exam room we went. Me and vet's assistant gently hold Smokey as he's examined when vet asks: "Where's the pimples you're talking about?"
So I look at Smokey on the table and poiht:"There, see, right below his nipples he has these other things growing......"
The woman holding Smokey and the vet started laughing so hard that Smokey got free and flew off the table. I just stood there with my head spinning to find Smokey while wondering what they were laughing about......Eventually my cat jumped into my arms w hen i called him and the vet explained that animals' bodies are different than ours and male cats have more nipples than a person does........Live and learn.....Iwas a dumb, college grad of 23 at the time0 -

Haha
Definitely gave me a laugh...ewww!
How many times did you go rinse your mouth out after discovering where your chap stick had been?!!
I'm more of a dog person myself, but we also do have three cats. Funny, even though I'm the one who still loves them but doesn't enjoy them as some of my family members do, it seems I'm still the one who scoops out the cat box and feeds them- actually should go do that now!

Actually I don't know if this is a true story or just a joke, but I thought maybe it would bring a smile to some so wanted to share.
