PET/CT scan Thursday
I'd appreciate your prayers and thoughts as I'm having a PET/CT scan tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. My last scan was Nov 4th & this is the longest I've ever gone between scans, so I'm hopeful, feeling positive, but also nervous for this scan. As many of you know, my onc upped my Gemzar chemo dose two months ago and that was also the same time I started in with taking supplements and doing cleanses with a naturopathic doctor. My CEA had been steadily rising for close to 3 months & then went down for the first time in a while (from 277 to 216 over a 4 week period). I had my CEA tested again yesterday & should have those results tomorrow. If I'm lucky and things go like they have in the past, I should be able to go to the hospital records room the very next day (Friday) and get a copy of my scan report. I always like to get my results prior to meeting with my onc, if at all possible. My onc appt to go over the results is Monday afternoon (4:00 PST). I'm hoping to get results before then, but if I don't post any results by Friday or Saturday, then it's because I'm having to wait until Monday's appt.
I know others are also having scans and procedures this week too- so I will be thinking of and praying for all of you too.
Hugs,
Lisa

Good scan coming your way!!
I thought I had already responded to this, Lisa... but who knows where my response went... somewhere out there in cyberspace!
Anywho... you KNOW you've got all my positive thoughts, and messages sent out to the universe tonight and first thing in the morning (hey, at least we are on the same timezone so I'll get those universal messages sent out before you have the scan) You are so conscientious about checking all possible paths/meds/treatments.... that I'm sure the scan will reflect this.
Ok, I'm also crossing a bunch of limbs, fingers and toes for you as well!!
Hugggggggs,
