Chat Room

hmmmm
I don't know ladies...had not heard of this before last night, when stayingcalm came into the chat room on your behalf.
She obviously got in easily.
I am not a CSN person, but I would advise, in the short term, trying to update your Java version to begin with. To do that, go to java.com and download and run the update. That MIGHT help.
If you are still on a phone modem (and I suppose folks are) that may be the problem as well.
Otherwise, it becomes much more complicated and probably has to do with your security settings. The chat room is percieved by some Windows settings as a pop up or some other such 'evil', and so an adjustment in security settings might be required.
In the end, CSN should be the one to guide you through these difficulties.
Looking forward to seeing you in the Chat Rooms.
If I can be of help, please let me know.
Take care,

Hey Joe,
thanks for giving me suggestions on stuff to try. Not that I go in the chat room either too often, but sometimes I feel like talking. Guess I feel strange cause I was just a caregiver and it seems like everyone is there is fighting this darn disease so feel like I don't belong.
Take care Joe! How are you doing? Hope okay. Can't wait for spring maybe we'll all feel better. Carole0 -

I haven't been able to access the chat room, ever. I just upgraded Java, and presto! I'm in! Thanks, Joe.

Please do not feel that way about the chat room, Mana: it is there for survivors and caregivers alike and there are many, many caregivers (and former caregivers) who visit frequently.
I look forward to seeing you and the others, hopeful that you have the same kind of success that karenbeth did.
Take care,

I had a hard time getting in for the first time yesterday and had just upgraded Java and then it worked. Now today have been trying about a half hour and not able to again. Just get a blank screen. Bummer because the people that where in the chat were very warm and welcoming. Guess I will try off and on.0
