Glad to see no cancer. That's always a good thing, and so are the ck-ups.Some drs don't stay on top of things sounds like her's is.Can understand the fear that they are still concerned.Sorta keeps things right in your face, but always better to be safe then sorry.Hope your day turns around and brightens up.Hang in there,Michele0 -
Thank God
So very glad to hear these results. Of course you know that any measures that need to be taken from this point are necessary and will prevent problems in the future but I can understand your anger also. There's only so many hoops one can jump through before you become just so sick of it. I am thankful that those hoops exist but it ain't easy! Hang in there as this too shall pass and then a vacation perhaps?? God bless. Mary0 -
Lisa and Vinnie
It is so easy for me to say, but I told you so. Not cancer. I didn't walk in your shoes. The reason I say "I told you so", so many of my friends, and friends of friends have had the exact DX as Lisa. Two of them had to have surgery to remove a small growth, and had to be checked every 6 months. Then every year. They are fine now.
I realize everyone is different. But, try and look on the bright side, if you can. Try and not be mad, but relish in the wonderful news, NO CANCER.
I do believe our DX has made all of us so pesimistic, scared, gloomy, and always expecting the worse. Thankfully, the news was good for both of you.
Our prayers were answered, Love Maggie0 -
Great News!!!!
Vinny,
Glad to hear the biopsy came back negative. It would still worry me as to why they would want to keep a close check. I would wonder if they were keeping something from me. Then again maybe its just they are playing it safe.Nothing wrong with that. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)0 -

Hi Vinny & Lisa,
I'm so very thankful that Lisa's results were (NO CANCER). And I am sorry that she has to go through additional surgery, perhaps a second opinion on that would make you feel better. Getting followed every 6 months is not that unusual when something is found, at least that has been my experience. And I totally get your anger. You both have been through so very much these past several years. Mary is so right, you need a long vacation after all of this.
Thinking of you,

Hi Vinny,
Well...thats good news there is no cancer. As far as the 6 months check ups...you do what you gotta do...remember? Thats what you always tell us. I've had a small mass on my right breast that shows up on every mammogram for the last 8 years. It hasn't changed in size, so all my doctor does is keep a close eye on it and monitor from each yearly physical. It use to scare me always wondering from year to year if it would develope into somethingm worse, but so far so good. Thanks so much for getting back to us and please share if anything new developes. Take care buddy and give Lisa a big hug for me.Don't be mad..just be grateful it wasn't something worse. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

thanks for all the comments and prayers guys always means a lot, Lisa went today to talk about the procedure, and the possibilities that they may find, all and all, I still won't feel good until they are all done, and find no abnormal cell's. It's so funny that I could be so even keeled with both my cancers, but just the thought of Lisa getting it drives me nuts. Vinny0 -

Congratulations Lisa and Vinny!
I had microcalcification in my right breast. I went for 6 month checkups for a year and since nothing has changed, it's back to yearly tests. It's just an inconvienience for a bit.
I'll be glad when all the tests are done and you can take a worry break. I agree...it's called love
Take Care,
Beth0
