STABLE--is wonderful
Giving yourself shots is not but look at the outcome--will dissolve that clot and you will feel so much better.
Feel better soon.
Huge Hugs,
Margo
thanks for your support, and thank you for the link. I am trying to get the right position to do this, seems in bed is the best, and zoning out on TV!0 -

Hi Meena, I am having computer problems, so have to borrow and post when I can. I am so glad to hear the word "stable." I sure hope that the clot clears soon so you can stop the shots. xoxoxox Lynn0 -

I'm glad that you found out what was going on in your body but sorry that it's painful to give yourself shots 2x/day. At least it's good news to know that no new tumors exist and that you're stable. Wishing you positive thoughts that once again you will get through this.

Even though the good news is REALLY Good!!!, I'm sorry you have to go through giving yourself shots like that.
How much longer do you have to do that routine? I'm hoping the clot dissolves quickly for you so that your poor tummy feels better soon.

Actually, stable isn't just good - it's great! I hope they have a plan for taking out that blood clot and then for whacking that recurrence back to the Stone Age!
Love and prayers,
Joe

How are the shots going nowTexasgirl10 said:Oh Meena, I'm hugging you
Oh Meena, I am so sorry that you are going through this. Pulmonary embolisms are no fun. And the heparin injections do hurt. Are you pinching up a little bit of "fat" before you inject? If not, try that, it may actually make the injection hurt less. You are so strong Meena, and I am so very proud of you for fighting with everything you have and then some. Take good care of yourself, get plenty of rest, and know that we are all there with you cheering you on
Hugs and God Bless You,
Dawne
How are the shots going now Meena? Still painful?
Just to let you know I am thinking of you and sending prayers today.

Actually, Meena - I think "stable" via your med onc is GREAT news!!!
But, I truly am sorry you have to now deal with the clot issue - and especially those nasty shots. About a year and half ago - had those shots for 3+ weeks. YES - they hurt! And leave a lot of soreness, too. Just a tip - for me, was best to lie flat. At least, I think, be in a reclining position. (Both positions relax the abdominal muscles.) Don't do standing nor sitting straight up. Hope it gets easier for you.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Somehow I missed this post. I am happy about the word stable, so, congrats for that. Not so happy about the shots that you have to give yourself. I am so very sorry Meena.
Thank you for posting to let all of us know and please keep in touch.

I did mine standing in front of the bathroom mirror so I could see what I was doing from a couple of angles. I hope it's getting easier for you.
