I had a special angel today. Went to the mailbox and there was a pink paper cross with the breast cancer logo on it. You pull the cross piece and it opens and has a message/prayer inside. It was sent to me by Jean and it came at a perfect time. It really lifted my day, my spirits and my heart. thank you so much dear angel Jean.

I love surprises! One day a few months back, I went to the mailbox and there was a small package addressed to me. I did not know the sender, but I eagerly went to the kitchen for a pair of scissors. Inside were two of the most beautifully knitted chemo caps I have ever seen. The sender, it turned out, was the sister of a woman I attend group therapy with. She makes chemo caps and when her sister told her of my BC and subsequent "baldness" she thought she would whip out a couple for me. I was soo grateful and moved that a complete stranger would do something like this for me. It's a wonderful feeling to know that someone cares enough to reach out.

I am glad you were "gifted" with a little blessing!

    Be Well,
