What prompted me was the fact that I noticed white was suddenly forming around the graft area, it turns out that is super normal and to be expected. My surgeon was wonderful and told me to call anytime I feel something is not right and they will squeeze me in, which I deeply appreciated. So the long and short of it is so far so good.     Thank you all for your good wishes. I had the stitches removed, I have no idea how many stitches there were the doc said there were a lot! He left a few in that were a tad stubborn so as not to disturb the skin graft which he said so far has taken 100 percent. I was not able to see it very well, what I did see looked okay to me. My husband was there and watched the stitches removed, he said he was impressed that it looked pretty good for such an early stage so I guess that's a good thing! It is back under wraps for a few more days, I have to change the bandage this weekend. Again thanks for all your good wishes!
