I am wondering how Donald is doing , have not seen him on here in a long time.
I would love to know how he is doing after the Zevalin treatment.
I go to see the Oncologist March 4 , so will see what he has to say.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day.
I just am not feeling the greatest. But will see.
I had Zevalin one year ago December 23.

    Hello Hildi
I thank you for thinking of me. I am doing fine. I have gone through a couple of issues lately but nothing to do with cancer or treatments. As we all must experience at some points in our lifetimes, age or "time" seems to throw us curve balls and all we can do is PRAY and swing at them. I am thankful that praying helps to connect that swing more frequently. Next month I go for my next ct scan, rituxan maintenance and will find out from the onc doc if it will be my last rituxan treatment. I feel positive that it will be! I have been taking it for 2-1/2 years since getting zevalin in June 2008.
I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling "the greatest" but pray taht it will pass and you will see better days ahead of you. I also hope that your visit with your onc doc next month provides you with uplifting news and comfort.

    Stay Strong and Positive†

So happy to hear that you are doing well. I think about how you are doing from time to time.
I have a question to ask. Before I go tot he Oncologist , I have heard several times people
who had Zevalin get Rituxin maintenance. Not that I want any , but wondering why my Oncologist did not do that considering that I was stage 4 and it was in my bone marrow.
I have had such muscle pains that it even wakes me up at night. I lost my Mother last March to Colon Cancer and she was 88 years old. But I was with her every day for many many years.
I just find it very difficult. Hope I did not go on too much.
Hope your scan is going to be good. Please let me know. I will be praying for you.
I will tell you sometimes you can be strong but it surely stays on your mind.
Some days it is hard to be positive especially when you dont feel the best at times. That makes your mind wander. My husband just keeps telling me, there is nothing to worry about, it gets kind of tiring to hear. I dont think people understand sometime. Allthough he is a sweetheart.
Thank you so very much for writing to me. I really appreciate it so very much.
I will be praying for you Donald.

    muscle pain
    Hilde,

Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing your pains. I can't recall whether I have ever asked you, what your doctors reply to the issue of your muscle pain was? I know they prefer NOT to associate aches, pains or other problems with what they prescribe or perform. Have you been checked for or do you know if you have arthritis? Rituxan is also used for rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks again for thinking of me and keep in touch.

Hilde, I can relate to what you are saying...
    Hilde,

I know what you mean about your husband nodding and not really relating to what you are feeling. Many times, I complained to hubby and yes, it got tiring. My daughter was sweet to offer herself for me to complain to so to give hubby a break!! Not that I complain much but our bodies go through so much that we sometimes have to report what is going on. No fun. But it is nice just to get understanding and validation of our feelings. Then we move on. Hope you feel better.

    Complain
    Hi Liz:

Yes that is nice that your daughter stepped forward. I don't even say complain it is acting like nothing is wrong.
They act like nothing has happened. That is what bothers me.
I know mine loves me but he just puts it out of his mind.
    Hope you are doing well.
    love, Hilde

    thanks for the good point!
Good point, Hilde that I don't need to view comments about my body as "complaining". All we need is validation of what we feel and go through...

    Love,
    Liz
