Checking in
Mary,
Glad to hear you are doing well, except for your cold. It is the cold season and rough to avoid catching one especially when you have to be around other people. Nobody can afford to stay home anymore. We all have to go out and work to make ends meet. The people that have these germs are the same as everyone else and pass the germs to everyone they come in contact with. I am retired but still just going to the store puts me in the same boat. I had a cold and it lingered for over a month. Its nice to hear from you letting us know how things are going. Just keep checking in and keeping us updated and take care. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)0 -

So good to hear from you. How are you feeling? Yeah there's no way to avoid the colds and when you work in health care it's a given. The current strain swept through my work like a 5 alarm fire taking everyone in its path. I hope all is good with you and you take care too. Mary(FNHL-1-4A-7/08).0 -

Mary,
I have my first R maintenance coming up next week. Getting nervous because I have to have a scan as well. Feel pretty good except for the on going tiredness. Some days are better than others but just can not reach that 100% mark yet. I was having hip pain for awhile. i could only walk maybe a quarter mile before my hip started acting up. Its better now. Its the same hip I had the BMB in. I don't know, it could be age related as well. Take care. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)0 -

Big week coming up for you. I'll be thinking about you for sure and sending some special prayers. That 100% is a tough one....I am close but now wonder if I was really 100% before all of this. lol! Maybe we're chasing a number that really doesn't exist? The hip business is really an issue for a lot of us. I am bothered by it also especially my left. My CT scan did show some patchy areas there and the impression was most likely the site of old treated lymphoma. My MD was kind of stumped by it but also interested, so we are watching it. But it's enough that I sometimes walk "old" especially after driving long distances. The CT showed the hip joint to be very good so I don't know. I guess I will play it by ear but if it keeps up I may have to have it looked into further. Again good luck next week. I'll be watching for an update. Mary0 -
Sooo cute!
Hi Mary,
I just looked at the picture of Nanette and Maggie you posted on the Expression page....oh my gosh...they are absolutely precious!!! Nanette cracked me up the way she was leaned over looking at the camera...is she the onry or shy one? Thanks so much for sharing! You have a good weekend also. I'm home alone this weekend as Steve is going to visit his mom in Spokane. She had knee surgery 3 weeks ago, so he wants to go and check on her and spend some one on one mama son time. I think he's taking her out to diner tonight at his sisters restraunt and then shopping at Costco tomorrow. So...it's chick flick movie night for me..Kentucky Fried Chicken and a 4 pack of Cadbury carmel eggs to munch on while I watch my movies...ha! I'm feeling great..(knock on wood)..ha! Take care...Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -

Oh, so good to hear from you too and glad to know you're doing well. Makes me smile as does the movies,KFC,AND those eggs. Definitely my kind of night!! Your husband sounds like a sweetie and I am sure his Mom will be thrilled to have his help and attention. And you get to have some alone time which I crave but never get. Love everyone here to death but man oh man.......! Thanks for looking at the picture. They are the light of my life. I would have to say that Nanette is probably the bolder of the two but also the "thinker" type, always sizing up the situation while Maggie is more animated but shyer. They both know how to ham it up for the camera tough!! I bet you are so looking forward to your new little one. It will be so fun for you. Do they live close by? Have a treat filled night and take care. Love, Mary(FNHL-1-4A-7/08)0 -

Yes..the kids only live about 10 minutes from us..both of my boys and the older grandchildren. Usually one or the other of them will stop in to see me at sometime each day...rarely a day when none of them stop in. I've been helping my daughter-in-law get the nursery set up at their home. The baby shower is April 2nd, so we are looking forward to that and then getting everything put up and ready for baby Lizzie's arrival. To say the least, I'm totally excited...it's been 19 years since we've had a baby around the house. I'll post pictures for sure when she gets here...ha! Gotta run to KFC and get my chicken...my tummy is growling and I want to be home before it gets dark. Love...Sue0
