Lizzy...I have to tell you a
Lizzy...I have to tell you a wonderful story related to this. I'm recently diagnosed with colon cancer (1/8/11) and more recently Thursday, 2/24/11 told I have mets to the liver; I had told one of my managers at work about March 4th right after I had my surgery in Jan. She called me Friday to check on me and said because of HIPA laws she was told she needed to make sure it was okay with me that she had a friend of hers make blue ribbons for everyone at my job to wear on Friday. She said she wanted it to be a surprise but didn't want me to be upset. I said that was absolutely okay. She took it a step further and the girl put my name on every one of them. How wonderful and caring people can be in a time of despair for another. That moved me so much! I will have my blue on that day as well as my family and friends. Thanks for letting everyone know!
Take care,
