Updated Path info
I have invasive ductal carcinoma; Stage 11, T2, and Grade 3. No lymph node involvement. I am estro/prog positive, and Her2 negative. From what I gather, I will be having some chemo and radiation along with some pill. I was told this combo was really treatable, even though it is Stage 11.
Anyone have thoughts on this? Thank you in advance.

Hello!
I had the same as you but, stage 2, grade 2, and five lymph nodes involved! I had chemo, radiation, and now I take tamoxifen. I have done very well! There are many types of breast cancer and the treatments vary. I have heard of many stage 3 and 4 survivors. Just go along and do what is best for you. Remember, it is your body and study up. I read alot and got much info from my doctors and breast advocate. Wishing you the best!!! Keep us updated!!! Carlie0 -

The American Cancer Society along with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network has a wonderful booklet out called Breast Cancer Treatment Guidelines for Patients. I went back to this book a lot during my treatment and still look at it when I can't remember what something means.

Wishing you all the best! I didn't have chemo, but, had rads. I got dark pink with rads and was very tired towards the end.
We're here to help you thru any of your treatments.
