my scars

hello there!! i am a 16 year cancer survivor, i was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at the age of 11 months. after countless surgeries i have multiple scars, and they arent just little scars either. :( my scars from all my surgeries have been seriously bothering me lately. i get like sharp pains and they get itchy an irritated. does anyone here deal with this as well??

    OH yeah
    I was diagnosed 12 years ago with ewing sarcoma of my upper right arm. They did a limb sparing surgery and so i have had several lengthening surgeries and everything else. My scar is huge like 6 inches long and almost an inch thick too. All of a sudden this year my scar has itched like crazy and the very middle of it i get a sharp pain that you just can't fix it. My family and friends think it is so weird that this happens and frankly so do i. glad to know someone else deals with this too.

    Yes I get that all the time....and i am 45yrs. old you just learn to deal with it.

    How are you doing well I hope.Grandson was diagnosed with ewings sarcoma in jan 2011 around his left eye.
