Wow, I grew up in Somerville, near Davis Square. My Hubby is a policeman in Somerville (still) 8 years to retirement. I guess it is a small world after all...
Be Well,

I'm in CT. We live about 45 min from my son who lives in Auburn and we were just there yesterday. A few months ago I tried organizing a meeting with fellow CT sisters but everything got in the way - my treatment and the weather and holidays. Now that I'm done with rads I'm now watching my granddaughers every day. I'm hoping to get us all together sometime May or June. We could include MA sisters too if you're interested.

but
My daughter lived in Boston for two years during grad school and I visited every opportunity I could get!!
I love it there and grew up in Maryland myself and miss the change of seasons and snow!!
Actually, I have thought of moving to Boston, because I love the city, and the medical care seems awesome. I am also a diabetic. (joslin)0 -

Hi Sue,
Just wanted to say hello, another NY'er here, but from Long Island. You caught my eye when you mentioned Albany- my one and only daughter goes to SUNY University at Albany and she loves it. Although for the first time ever, we may have gotten more snow down here than upstate- it's been crazy!
Best regards,

Hi Dianne,
Sorry, another NY'er here from Long Island. All I really know of MA is Boston, which I've been to a few times and I've loved every mminute of it.
Oh yeah, and another thing- it seems that any of the college students from LI that go to school in Boston never come back- they all stay there or in the surrounding area after graduation. Must be something great about that area....
Best,

Hi I'm from MA, like Carkris. Grew up in Watertown and lived in Belmont.
Moved down the Cape for years and just moved 20 miles north of CC.
Hugs,
