Visualizing you screaming - LOLsoccerfreaks said:"People stay just a little bit longer"
(Jackson Browne reference)
Patience? Glenna, you know me better than that! I stayed because I had a really good feeling that it was last time with ENT Man. AND I was standing in front of the CNN news screen shouting and screaming with the protesters and got lost in the moment .
Thank you for the kind words, my friend. Stick around, kiddo, and YOU'LL be telling ME that you are through with one or another of these characters!
Take care,
Joe
I can picture you screaming along with the protesters as you watched CNN. It will bring a smile to my face for a long time whenever I think of this.
Was hoping I would be through with doctors sooner but got "iffy" news from rad man two days ago. "Subtle changes" in the lung CT so it is going before the review board for their recommendations. This is the first time in my life that anyone has used the word subtle when referring to anything about me - LOL. I will know the boards recommendations by March 2nd so I'm going to keep myself extra busy for the next two weeks.
I keep reminding myself that worrying won't change the outcome and think of your "It is what it is" line so that helps. Even if it doesn't ease my worrying it makes me smile because whenever I think of you Joe I have to smile. You have kept humor in all of your posts which is the best medicine, for me at least.
Stay well,
Glenna0 -

Thank you, my friend! Hard to believe that you joined only in July of 09, as it seems we have been crossing paths forever.

"All Clear" - Magnificent
I'm humming "Pomp and Circumstance" again. Here's looking forward to OncoMan being ready to see the back of you, too.
NOW - get out that food diary, and start logging intake. You know you can do this (avoid the new PEG), even though it's a real job.0 -

I don't know if you ever 'earn' anything, Liz, not in this particular world. I've done my best to retain my hope, and my humor. That's about it, and all I could offer as advice to anyone.
I thank you for the kind words and for reminding me that the guy had a good time before the end
Take care,

Thank you, my sweet friend. Speaking of running across each other all of the time, we have GOT to stop meeting like this .
I know that you will be joining me in no time at all, Pam. I always enjoy chatting with you, and learn something from you here, too, on a regular basis.
Take care,

Congrats on 5 years dude. I can't wait till I hit the 5 year mark, got 4 to go..!
As Omar said:
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on,
nor all you piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
nor all your tears wash away a word of it.
It is what it is Joe.......Keep showing the love

He knew his stuff, as far as I can tell, although I remember only The Rubaiyat:
A Book of Verses underneath the Bough,
A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread--and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness--
Oh, Wilderness were Paradise enow!
Thank you for the kind words, Steve. The first year is the hardest. You will be there in no time at all!
Take care,
Joe0
