    How's it going? Yes, radiation pneumonia does leave scarring right alongside the scarring from the radiation itself!!! How long did it take to rid yourself of the pneumonia you had? You take care.

    Stayed home from work two weeks, returned one day
    and was out another week and a half (that was a week after my 45th birthday when I thought i was in great shape!!!!), then biopsied in Dec '96... The pneumonia probably was beginning of lung problems ultimately Dxed as COPD in Nov 2000, tho I continued smoking cigs(35 years worth) til July 2001......usually I remind onc and radiologist that I have scar tissue on lungs after each scan, tho I think they know that by now.....Hoping all goes well for you from here on out.....

I think you came up with a great compromise with your onc. Good for you for telling him what you would be doing. You're going to have great results.
