Another loss to this beast
I am angry
I am sad
Don Miller is the brother of the man - Dr Walter Miller, who got me into Sloan Kettering/Dr. Fong, who performed my 9-tumor liver resection last March.
Don was diagnosed with colon cancer a few months ago. Dr Fong couldn't help him. He went downhill fast and passed this Saturday.
I effin HATE you Cancer
And just a general note: I haven't been posting here very much lately. And in such a short time so many new people on the board.
I do pop on now and again and read your stories and please know I am thinking and praying for each and every one of you.
Peggy

hi peggy, vent away
I know how you feel. At least Don's at peace and been released from the cancer beast.
Must of been heart breaking for the doctor to be unable to use his skills to help.
stay well,

I just this morning buried one of my friends....its never good and there is never the right thing to say, so just accept my sympathy to you and to him and his family and hope that somehow as we always do, persevere to get through it, may you find your peace and calm with this....bless you, Clift0 -

Cancer loss
Hi,
I just wanted to extend my prayers to you and your family at this time. I truly know how you feel. My mother was diagnosed in July, 1994 and passed away within two weeks from colorectal cancer. It was very upsetting when I was diagnosed, for this disease took the life of my mother's sister and brother as well. I am now a cancer survivior. It is okay to vent for I did as well. Hold on to your faith for it will guide you. Take care.
Peace and Blessings,

What a sad and frustrating
What a sad and frustrating story. Very sad for us (me) who have the opportunity to give a good fight. Thank you for the information though, as I will throw some extra punches for Don in my fight. I want to take a picture of me to post here with my new t shirt...CCKMA (in capital's) and cancer can kiss my **** (in small underneath).
Love and hugs to you and yours, Gail0
