Goodbye and good luck
I would like to thank everyone for the responses to questions that I had and getting me through the beginning of this nightmare.
Good luck to all on your cancer journey.

I know as the ole saying goes about curiosity that you will be back to read what has been posted after you left. I did the same as everyone else that leaves here, its human instinct to be curious. But let me leave you with this, if we leave every place that caused us to be uncomfortable for a bit then we fail as individuals. If Martin Luther King never made the walk because he felt uncomfortable then where would his people be right now, if Louis Pasteur quit because his first of more than 500 attempts at a polio vaccination failed then where would we be right now. If General George Patton had quit what language would we be talking right now. What would your children do if every time you ran up against something that didn't suit you you turned and walked away. Everyone has their right to say or do what they want, and yes I can see where this would upset me as well if the intention is not what the poster construed it to be. She has made an open apology to you in hopes that all the air is clear. This is a place where we take care of our family and you are a part of that. If your intentions are valid, then stand on your feet and stay where you stand. Please don't walk away with a sour taste in your mouth because one post went awry. I think she made it clear that it was a post to protect people we love and I know it wasn't meant to be a verbal attack. I know the poster to well for that to be the issue. Let it go and become a part of this place, we need all the opinions we can get and yeah, we fight like brothers and sisters.......because we are....

As a guilty party in this affair
I would ask that you stay.
We don't acknowledge it much, but there are two groups that post on this forum: patients and caregivers.
We need views from both, and it was nice to have you here from the start, representing the caregiver POV, seeking help for your mom.
When Sonia, a patient, inadvertently misrepresented your intention, she set up the possibility that she was wrong, later she apologized, admitting she had made a mistake in her representation of you. This is where I, another patient, jumped in. I also apologize for my harshness.
You are free to ask about alternatives here, and boy will the information flow freely, as there are folks from every viewpoint on this board. We don't let those disagreements stop us from being friends.
Bottom line, please come back!
Your future friend,

Please stay
I wish I had not read Phil's reply to your earlier post on protocel and also wish I hadn't flagged lovedogs reply to you. I was genuinely hand on heart trying to stop you being taken in by new posters who have never posted before. The only replies I would want you to trust is those from our experienced members who have tried alternative methods, and they are are many on here who have and are still around.
As I said I lost my mum 10 days after I got married in 07 to breast cancer, and along with conventional medicien I had her on alternatives, vitamins, fish algae the works. When I got cancer along with chemo I was on proto-col which has 125 different vitamins and minerals, and it was the only thing my onc would let me take.
If it makes you feel comfortable I will leave for a while.
But please stay0 -

I hope that you stay. The site is most always a very good place for information about different therapies. I did not see anything in your post that would lead anyone to believe you were trying to sell anything.
Unfortunately, we get hit time to time by people who either start posts or hijack other ones and do try to sell something.
Again, I hope that you decide to stay and that you can get the support you need.

PS: My reply to your post was a reply to "person" who was a troll. My reply had nothing to do with your post other than warning about drug interactions which can be fatal.0 -
No Sonia, it does no one any good for anyone to leave...Sonia32 said:Please stay

We are in this together and we will stay in this together. We are human, and humans sometimes make mistakes, whether or not we like it or not. Your post was to protect the individuals that you care for, nothing more. All I see here are people caring about people. That's what its all about and you did nothing to feel bad about ...Its past, its all good now, so lets allow her to make her mind up as to whats in her best interest and in hopes she returns, if not then we still have thousands that need everything they can get here, so we will continue to devote our time to comfort them........Love to you all.....buzz0 -

Oh, dear
I'm sorry. I haven't been feeling great lately and have also been very busy, so I have apparently missed something here. I'm sorry if your feelings got hurt, or you didn't receive information you requested. But I sure hope you'll stay here. Despite some of the grumblimg and fighting that goes on sometimes. this is a great place for support and information.
I will be praying for you, whether you stay or not.
*hugs*
