Yes this is the movie Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon ,and thewolfen said:True Grit
Pepe,
The movie is "True Grit" starring Jeff Bridges. It is a remake of a 1969 movie starring John Wayne and it has received very good reviews. I have not seen the new one yet, but the original is one of my favorites. My husband & I are huge John Wayne fans and have visited the original filming location in Ridgeway, Colorado & eaten in the True Grit cafe.
Enjoy the movie.

Yesterday!pepebcn said:Are you not seeing Lisa and Sara today?
Hugs girls!
Hi Pepe,
We had our visit yesterday afternoon! It was a lot of fun- Sarah, Raquel, and Gail all came to my house in Fallbrook. We talked, had lunch, went on a walk, and talked some more! We did take some pictures too- one of us will post soon.
Gail and Raquel stayed another night in Oceanside, which is the neighboring town, down by the beach and were going to enjoy the time a little bit there before heading on home. I would have joined them except it's my youngest daughter's 11th birthday. Her actual birthday was yesterday (Gail helped put up the balloons) & our family went to dinner last night. Today, she has a birthday party at 1:00 with her friends and we're taking them ice skating and then out to pizza. So, busy, busy! The ladies were at my house yesterday from about 10 a.m. to almost 2:30 (when I had to leave to pick up kids from school- Sara had to leave a bit sooner as she also had to go pick up kids and was about an hour or so drive away).
It was great seeing them all face to face! Sara and I had met before, but just one time.
We also had a phone call to Serrana (after Sara left- sorry, Sara- forgot to do that until after you had to leave).

Going to the Grammy Awards!!!
What a weekend! First, I get to have a wonderful time with Lisa, Gail and Raquel on Friday morning..lunch was great and enjoyed with three amazing ladies. Today I am going dress shopping for the Grammy awards (music awards show) in Los Angeles on Sunday. The company my husband works for sponsors the show and he got three tickets so we are taking my 14 year old daughter. She is so excited!!! My younger daughter is not old enough to attend, but my husband promised to take her and a friend to the American Idol show (they sponsor that, too) in a few months. It should be quite an experience!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,

We were suppose to go to the Sharks (my team) Devils hockey game, box seat tickets!
But the whole family has had a nasty virus all week. My husband had a stressful week at work and we have been looking forward to it for months.
He was feeling better so I called him at work and told him I was having trouble the kids and needed his help. When he got here, I had a town car waiting to take him to the game. It felt great to have him chill out for the night and not worry about driving or taking care of anyone
who was sick. It was the best 103 fever I ever had while taking care of sick kids! The Sharks lost but he had a great time.0 -

Wishing I were gardening or taking a walk on the beach this weekend...instead, here in Utah I'll be watching the snow melt. Going out to dinner for yummy delicasies with another couple Saturday night and hope to spend most of my free time painting on Sunday - I have two portraits to finish up and new works to begin
Hey Janine....I paint too...and portrait commissions. I wanted to welcome you to the board too, I see you are new here and just want you to know (as I'm sure you're already finding out) that there are lots of people who pop in and out of here who will encourage you, guide you, and definately make you laugh. (Especially Kerry the old coot) Have a great weekend and happy painting! I will be doing the same!0 -
