Sending positive thoughtsnatly15 said:Jean you are in my prayers.
Jean you are in my prayers. I was told last August that they saw something that they thought could be scar tissue. I had a follow up this past Tuesday to make sure there were no changes and I'm believeing after waiting since august that this is scar tissue for me and I hope for you as well. Hang in there. I know this is unnerving, but I always say dont trouble trouble till you know it is indeed trouble. I'm praying for scar tissue. Remember you will and can do anything that is necessary to maintain your health. Love and Hugs
Dear Jean
Sending positive thoughts.
Let's not cry until we know biopsy results. Praying it will be negative,

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear. And I too think that I could never go through it all again. But in truth, we can if we have to. I sure hope that it turns out to be nothing, and false alarms do happen! But if it isn't a false alarm, we will walk every single step of the way with you. We will strengthen you in every way we can, at every turn.
It sounds like you have a wonderful support system at home. Lean on them and lean on us.
You are in my prayers, dearheart.

Saying a BIG prayer for you!

Thank you all for love, support & prayers!
Again, prayers were answered!!!! Went this morning for my biopsy. While waiting in the waiting room my breast surgeon came in from next door. He said he was sure it was just scar tissue, however, he was waiting the the radiologist to come in so they could discuss it. He came back a little later and the raidiologist felt it was scar tissue too, but since I was there, she wanted to take a look. They took me back. It took the technician at least 5 minutes or more to even find in on the ultrasound. She marked it and went to get the radiologist. The radiologist came in took one look and said it was right on my scar and that it was scar tissue and a biopsy wasn't necessary. She said they would check it again in 6 months.
I couldn't wait to get dressed and to get out to the waiting room to tell Tom. My breast surgeon came back over while we were leaving to check on me. He said it wasn't necessary for me to see him for my appointment in 2 weeks, that I am good for 6 months!
Thank you all for listening to me cry yesterday and holding my hand this morning. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. I didn't tell a lot of my family and friends about this yesterday, but felt better when I could write it here.
Also, thank you dear missrenee for calling me this morning to check on me. ♥
Love you all!

Jean,
Little prayer I think not. BIG PRAYERS. I will keep positive thoughts that it is scar tissue. But whatever it is we are here for you and you can do whatever you have to do. You are strong and tough. Meanwhile try not to worry too much and cry and vent if you need to. Glad you have your hubby and your friend. You will get through this. Hugs, big prayers and positive energy flowing your way.

Well, I should have read further down the post but prayers are never wasted. So happy that it was scar tissue. I had the same thing at my first mammo but didn't have to have the scare of a potential biopsy. At my next mammo 6 months later it was just the same, no change. I am sure that is what you will find. Many times this is the case at the first mammo. They are also looking for the new "norm" on our breasts and they take everything they see seriously. Sorry for the scare but glad it turned out okay.0 -

Waiting, wondering, and worrying - very hard to do! Hoping this will prove to be "nothing" and sorry you're having to go through this scare. I know you'll do whatever you have to do regardless of the results, but hoping and praying for the best.
