With much appreciation to our caregivers. You mean so much to us. And extra thoughts and energy for your brother. I'll take you on as a two-fer.

Although we don't really know each other (I think I've only seen a couple of your posts), I just wanted to say "Hi" and I'm thinking of you during this wonderful little projects of thinking about the person who posts above us
Wow... only two more chemo treatments to go?? How did you luck out and get so few??? Or is my Chemo Brain kicking in and you have been on Chemo for awhile now? I know when I was first diagnosed in December 2006, I didn't get my surgery until January 2007 and once I had that, then I was on chemo in one form or another for 8 months (with 6 weeks of radiation in there as well)... but then I had a lovely almost 3 year break from chemo, but had to start again last June, on the Xeloda... and then this week started on Irinotecan. So, I'm very envious of anyone who gets to only do a handful of chemo treatments... what's your secret???

Nice idea Buzzard!
I've been to Texas a few times and really liked it there...beautiful country and the people were real nice Good luck with your health, Kenny. I'm rooting for you!
My name's Janine and this is my first post. I'm from Oregon, living in Utah. Just diagnosed with colon cancer with liver mets two days ago. I'd had a "non-cancerous" tumor removed with colon resection 9/10 but got a surprise when I went for a checkup after a minor car accident...pain in my tummy is actually an enlarged liver with two big masses. Biopsy confirmed adenocarcinoma, doc says it's colon cancer. Very scared and don't know what lies ahead.0 -

Age 47, diagonsed December 2010. Stage iv rectal cancer with two small mets to the right lung. The mets were both less than one centimeter and were removed January 2011 via a VATS procedure. Just started my first chemotherapy on February 8th. Scheduled for 6 treatments then evaluate to resect primary rectal tumor. Still can't believe all of this. I'm sure I will learn from everyone as I travel down this path!0 -

Kevin here, diagnosed Dec 2010 with Stage 3 Colon Cancer (2 of 14 nodes and a clean CT scan)... CEA went up after surgery, MRI showed that it actually made it to the liver. Oops, make that Stage 4. Starting chemo today. Will be thinking about you (and all the rest of you good people), you'll do well if you stay positive and love life.0
