A Fond Farewell

This Memorial Day is especially poignant this year as this site shuts down in a few days. It’s sad that we’ll lose this forum to seek answers and provide support to other women dealing with uterine cancer.

I found the online conversations that we had with other women and, in some cases their families and friends, as they dealt with this cancer and its side effects, very helpful for me personally.

It was always great to learn that some members, thankfully, survived and thrived, often continuing to offer support to others on this Board.

Unfortunately, however, other women did not survive. Seeing their comments pop up periodically when an old topic was revived brought both good memories of them as well the sadness I felt knowing they were no longer with us. So many were lost before newer treatments like immunotherapy were available to try to improve survivorship.

I will miss this Board and the many great women I met along the way here. For those still here, I hope your future still brings much joy in your lives.

Should any of you wish to reach out to me in the future, I can be contacted at chris@cltt.net.

We will miss you, too, cmb. Thank you for all you've done to encourage the ladies here, and for your technical expertise when needed!
